I feel like there is something in my upper right abdolman just under my rib. It comes and goes and sometimes feels like pinches or pulling. Could it be pancreatic? It lasts for weeks at a time. Not painful just annoying!

My mother died of pancreatic cancer when she was 47. I am now 50 and scared to death to get this. Is it hereditary? What can I do to prevent getting this awful disease.? I also had my gallbladder removed at the age of 20. Does this affect my pancreas or liver?

I heard that some cases of Pancreatitis are hereditary. Is that true?
